Fire In Mind has trawled the Bureau of Meteorology website to find links to detailed fire weather information for each state (i.e. forecasts and fire danger index calculations).    Below is what we have found.   (If you come across other links or sites please let us know and we will add them here.)

Total Fire Ban Information

While bushfires can occurr on days not declared a total fire ban day, it is important to be aware of when a day has been declared, and also what the rating is for the day.

Here are some links and/or maps showing whether a day is a total fire ban day in a particular area.  If you don't know your  fire ban district, contact your local council or fire service.
